Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is No Ordinary Journey
The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is not a resort holiday or an adrenaline-pumping adventure. It’s a soulful, high-altitude pilgrimage that demands mental strength, spiritual readiness, and a healthy, well-prepared body.
You don’t need muscle power or athletic endurance — but you do need to be medically fit and follow a disciplined routine before and during the Yatra.
Weather & Altitude Challenges
Extreme Weather: From scorching heat in lowlands to freezing cold in Tibet.
Altitude Variation:
Kathmandu: ~4,000 ft
Mount Kailash & Mansarovar: 15,000 – 19,000 ft
The journey takes you across dramatic elevations — your body must acclimatize.
