Chinese Visa & Permits
All yatris require a Chinese-Tibet Group Visa to visit Kailash Mansarovar.
Individual visas are not accepted by the Chinese government for this Yatra.
Only licensed tour operators like Aradhya Tours can apply for this visa on your behalf.
Group entry and exit must be at the same time.
Important:
If you already have a Chinese visa, it will be cancelled when the group visa is issued.
Aradhya Tours will apply for your visa using a soft copy of your passport.
Original passport will be required 3 days prior to the Yatra upon arrival in Kathmandu.
Nepal Visa
Foreign passport holders must obtain a Nepal Visa.
Indians do not require a Nepal visa.
Options for Foreign Passport Holders:
On Arrival: At Kathmandu airport immigration – carry 2 passport-size photos and approx. USD 40.
Before Travel: Apply at your nearest Nepalese Embassy or Consulate.
Note: Nepal visa charges are not included in the Yatra cost for foreign nationals.

For Foreign Passport Holders
Booking Form:
One form per person, completed and signed.
Passport:
Front page showing photo and details.
Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from travel date.
Once submitted, do not change your passport without informing us.
Photograph for Chinese Visa:
White background, recent (within 6 months).
Dimensions: 48mm x 33mm.
Head width: 15mm–22mm; Head height: 28mm–33mm.
Neutral expression, face camera directly, ears visible.
No shadows, red eyes, hats (except for religious reasons), or accessories.
Medical Form:
Signed by a registered MBBS doctor.
Must confirm your fitness for high-altitude travel (up to 19,500 ft).
Chinese Visa Form:
Fully filled and signed visa form.
For Indian Passport Holders
Booking Form:
One form per person, completed and signed.
Passport:
Color scan of front and last page.
Must include your residential address and have at least 6 months validity.
Photograph for Chinese Visa:
Soft copy only (no scanned or hard copies).
Same specifications as mentioned above.
Medical Form:
Signed by your family doctor confirming you are fit for high-altitude travel.
Chinese Visa Form:
Fully filled and signed visa form.
Additional IDs:
Copy of Election Card & PAN Card.
Insurance
Travel Insurance is Mandatory for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. It must cover:
Emergency evacuation by air up to 6,000 meters.
Repatriation.
Medical expenses.
International ticket cancellation (recommended).
Important:
Cashless Policy Preferred – Ensure your insurance company will issue a payment guarantee to hospitals or helicopter evacuation services.
Otherwise, you will need to pay upfront and claim reimbursement later.
Talk to your insurance agent to ensure all the above is included.
