🔸 Hiking Boots (Mandatory for Parikrama)

  • Ideal for rocky, slippery terrain during Parikrama

✔ Tip: Break in your hiking boots before the Yatra to avoid blisters.

🔸 Sandals/Floaters

  • Ideal for bus journeys and around campsite

  • Choose sandals with a back strap for better grip and durability

🔸 Sports Shoes (Optional)

  • Can be worn during initial travel days (Kathmandu, Lhasa, etc.)

  • Must have water-resistant toes and good traction

 

🔸 Hand Warmers (4–5 pairs)

  • Provides 10+ hours of warmth

  • Use during Parikrama mornings or high-altitude stops

🔸 Foot Warmers (4–5 pairs)

  • Ideal for use inside your boots

  • Lasts up to 9 hours, keeps feet toasty on cold trails

🧳 1. Main Bag (Your Travel Luggage)

  • This is the primary suitcase or trolley you’ll carry from your home.

  • Ensure weight is within airline limits as per international flight norms.

  • Once in Kathmandu, this bag will be stored safely at the hotel and won’t travel further with you.

🎽 2. Duffle Bag (Provided by Aradhya Tours)

  • Once you arrive in Kathmandu, Aradhya Tours will provide you with a duffle bag specially designed for the Yatra.

  • Transfer all Yatra essentials from your main bag into this duffle bag.

  • Please use transparent plastic zip-lock bags inside to keep items organized and moisture-free.

  • Each day, your duffle bag will be:

    • Given to you each evening

    • Collected next morning before departure

🎒 3. Backpack (Your Daily Essentials)

This is the bag you’ll carry with you every day during the Yatra.

Make sure it contains:

  • Light snacks for the day

  • Personal medicines

  • Poncho or raincoat (always keep handy)

  • 1 extra pair of socks

  • 1 extra pair of gloves

✔ Tip: Choose a lightweight, water-resistant backpack with padded shoulder straps for comfort.

👝 4. Waist Pouch (Valuables & Essentials)

A small waist pouch is very important and should be on you at all times.

Use it to carry:

  • Passport

  • Emergency cash or card

  • Personal ID

  • Chocolates or candies for energy

  • Any small valuables

  • Must-have to protect eyes from strong sun & UV rays at high altitude

  • Essential for early morning walks or dim-lit areas during Parikrama
