Travel with Humility – Embrace the journey with a spiritual mindset and a willingness to learn about local cultures and traditions.
Be Mindful of Others’ Feelings – Especially when taking photographs; always ask for permission and avoid intrusive behavior.
Observe, Don’t Judge – Listen more, observe deeply, and absorb the spiritual essence of this sacred land.
Experience the Culture – Don’t just seek comfort; embrace the different way of life and the spiritual atmosphere.
Carry Adequate Insurance – Ensure your insurance covers high-altitude evacuation and medical emergencies.
Keep Sufficient Cash – Remote areas may not support card or digital payments.
Bring an International SIM Card – Ensure international roaming is enabled for emergency communication.
Obtain a Physical Fitness Certificate – Mandatory from your family physician before the yatra.
Stay Hydrated – Drink at least 3 liters of water daily. Sip slowly – one sip every 10 minutes.
Diabetic Yatris – Carry your glucometer and snacks in your backpack. Monitor your sugar levels daily.
Spiritual Focus – Chant “Om Namah Shivaya” continuously during the journey for inner strength and divine connection
Don’t Be Easily Annoyed – Stay calm, patient, and promote a friendly atmosphere throughout the yatra.
Don’t Make False Promises – Avoid committing anything to locals unless you are absolutely sure you can fulfill it.
Avoid Gossip, Envy & Hatred – This is a spiritual journey – maintain a pure and positive mindset.
No Alcohol or Non-Veg Food – Strictly prohibited throughout the journey.
Do Not Carry Expensive Jewelry – Avoid bringing valuables to prevent loss or theft.
Don’t Ignore Health Symptoms – Even minor discomfort should be reported to the team immediately. Early action can prevent serious issues.
Don’t Overpack – Bring only essential items. Heavy luggage can burden you in high-altitude terrain.
Don’t Bring Big Containers for Holy Water – Use small mineral water bottles to carry Mansarovar Jal respectfully.
